1 ½ cups quinoa
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cups apple juice or water
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
⅓ cup dried cranberries
⅓ cup golden raisins
¼ cup sliced almonds
1.Wash hands with soap and warm water
2.Rinse quinoa in a fine mesh strainer until water runs clear.
3.Put into a 6-quart crockpot.
4.Mix in butter, if using.
5.Add apple juice, salt, cinnamon, cranberries, and raisins.
6.Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-4 hours.
7.Fluff the quinoa with a fork till it's tender.
8.Serve in bowls topped with almonds and enjoy!
