Role
- Assist with the PLAZA Mobile Market each Wednesday *
- Interact with local growers
- Setup & teardown of market
- Engage with community members
- Inventory, marketing, and other business practices
- Outreach & marketing on The Garden Kitchen’s socials
- Community engagement
- Data entry
- Additional administrative tasks as needed
*This is the primary role for this position; candidates must be available 8:30a – 1:30p every Wed
Desired Qualifications
- Passionate about food justice
- Excited to work in a multicultural environment
- Flexible and able to adapt to the unexpected
- Ability to carry up to 25lbs and stand for 2+ hours
- Spanish speaker preferred
Additional Info
- Start date: ASAP
- Pay: $14.50/hour
- Eligibility: Current undergraduate student at UA, minimum 6 credit hours
- Potential for employment to continue through summer season and into Fall 2024
