2 cups onion, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh garlic cloves, chopped
1 pound split peas, about
2 ¼ cups
8 cups low sodium broth
½ teaspoons ground black pepper
1 bay leaf
1.Wash hands well with soap and warm water.
2.Combine all ingredients in a 4-5 quart slow cooker.
3.Cover, vent and cook on low for 8 hours.
4.Serve warm and enjoy!
