Plant-Based Proteins Hands-On Cooking Class (19 MAY 2024)

Discover the world of plant-based proteins in our newest class! You don’t have to be vegan or vegetarian to reap the benefits, in fact, adding in some plant-based proteins to your regular diet is an easy way to increase your fiber, antioxidants, and all kinds of other nutrients. And we’ll teach you how to make it delicious, too!

The menu for this class may include:*

  • Pumpkin and Lentil Stew
  • Ginger Sesame Baked Tofu
  • Tofu Chocolate Mousse

*Menu items are subject to change based on season/availability.

Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Instructor: Jennifer Parlin

Class fee of $55.00 per participant includes lunch of all dishes made.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

All proceeds from these classes go towards our free programming, empowering Pima County residents to build community wellness and make healthier choices through food, fitness, and gardening education.

Cancellation policy: Refunds are available up to 2 weeks before the class. Note the refund will not include the Eventbrite processing fee.
