Kids & Parents Sopes Making Hands-On Cooking Class (4 FEB 2024)

Join us for this child/adult cooking class where youth can practice some great cooking basics alongside their adult mentor while learning how to make Mexican sopes (shaped corn masa patties) and pico de gallo.
Date: Sunday, Feb 4th, 2024
Time: 11am-12:30pm
Instructors: Carlyn Arteaga & Jennifer Parlin
Class fee: $25.00 per youth/adult pair; includes a meal of dishes made.
Ages: 6-12 with an adult*
*Note: Each youth must have an adult who is present and participates with them during the entire class.
All proceeds from these classes go towards our free programming, empowering Pima County residents to build community wellness and make healthier choices through food, fitness, and gardening education.
