Teriyaki Salmon Skewers with peppers, onion, and pineapple on a plate

 2 pounds salmon filets, bones and scales removed
 1 medium pineapple (or 2—15 ounce cans pineapple chunks in light syrup, drained)
 3 sweet peppers (green, red, yellow or pasilla)
 1 medium red onion
 ⅓ cup prepared teriyaki sauce

Wash hands well with soap and warm water. Wash produce well.

Preheat grill to medium high.

Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes before using. 4.Cut salmon, pineapple, sweet peppers and red onion into 1 inch pieces.

Push ingredients onto bamboo skewers.

Grease grill grates right before cooking.

Cook skewers for 3-4 minutes a side, until salmon is cooked through.

Remove from heat and brush with teriyaki sauce.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Serve warm over whole grain rice or quinoa and enjoy!
