 8 cups watermelon, roughly chopped
 ½ cup lime or lemon juice (about 3 limes or 2 lemons)
 8 cups of water
 ¼ cup chopped basil or mint (optional)
 Ice (optional)

1.Wash hands with soap and warm water. Wash produce well and chop as directed.

2.Squeeze limes or lemons into the liquid measuring cup.

3.Place melon and juice into a blender and blend well.

4.Transfer to a one-gallon pitcher. Add water and mix well.

5.Stir in herbs, if using.

6.Place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve over ice.

7.Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
