
2 cups fresh green garbanzos, shelled
1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
1 lime, juiced
1 teaspoon salt
½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
½ cup white onion, finely chopped
1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped

1. Wash hands well with soap and warm water. Wash produce well.

2. Cook fresh green garbanzos for about 3 minutes in boiling water.

3. After garbanzos are fully cooked, rinse in cold water.

4. In a food processor, combine fresh garbanzos, avocado, lime juice, and salt.

5. Puree until smooth. Remove from the processor and blend in the cilantro, onion, and jalapeno.

6. Transfer to a serving bowl.

7. Serve immediately.
