Green Chile Popcorn

Stovetop Method
 ½ cup popcorn kernels
 1 teaspoon olive oil
 ½ teaspoon Native Seed Search green chile powder
 Salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
Microwave Method
 2 tablespoons popcorn kernels
 ½ teaspoon olive oil
 ¼ teaspoon Native Seed Search green chile powder
 Salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
Stovetop Method

1.Wash hands with soap and warm water.

2.Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat until warm.

3.Pour popcorn and oil into pot. Stir popcorn constantly with wooden spoon until the first kernel pops.

4.Cover pot with a metal colander or vented lid. Shake constantly while popcorn pops.

5.When popcorn slows to 3 seconds between each pop, remove from heat.

6.Pour popcorn immediately into a large bowl to prevent kernels from burning.

7.Toss with olive oil.

8.Sprinkle with salt, pepper and green chile powder, to taste.

9.Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Microwave Method

1.Wash hands with soap and warm water

2.Put the popcorn kernels in a brown paper bag and place in microwave.

3.Microwave until the popcorn slows to 3 seconds between each pop then remove.

4.Season with chile powder, salt, and/or pepper

5.Serve immediately. Enjoy!
