Fall Harvest Apples and Cranberries

 Ingredients:
 
 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
 2-3 large apples, about 1 pound, sliced thin
 ¼ cup dried cranberries or raisins
 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
 ½ teaspoon ground ginger or 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
 ¼ cup pecans, walnuts, or sunflower seeds, chopped

1.Wash hands with soap and warm water. Wash apples well and chop as directed.

2.Heat olive oil or butter in a large sauté pan.

3.Add apples and cook over medium–high heat until browned, about 5 minutes. 4.Stir in dried fruit, cinnamon, ginger and nuts or seeds.

5.Cook over medium-high heat until fragrant, about 3-5 minutes.
