Roasted Miniature Spiced Apples

Ingredients

4 small apples

2 tablespoon regular or golden raisins

2 tablespoon dried cranberries

2 tablespoon walnuts

2 tablespoon melted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

Pinch of salt

Directions

Wash hands well with soap and warm water. Wash produce well.

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Leaving apples whole, cut the core out with a corer or a knife. Cut a small slice off the bottom of each apple so they sit upright.

In a small bowl, stir together remainder of ingredients.

Place apples on a lined baking sheet with edges and stuff with filling.

Bake for 25-35 minutes until apples are softened and fragrant.

Serve warm.
